[It had only come out during a random conversation, but the fact Emet-Selch had been used by Ardyn was a ticking time bomb for Irhya to go and kick his arse. He probably didn't even expect her to storm off with the intent of making someone hurt, but if he can go on a murderous rampage, she can rough someone up a little on his behalf.]

Oi. Ardyn?

[Hm, now that's unexpected. He's spent some time trying to avoid his brother, but no one else seemed interested in Ardyn much; even his earlier "victims" and interrogators. Suddenly getting a message, much less one from someone he doesn't recognize... Curious.]

[Oh yes, the girl with the cat ears and tail! Look at how nice he is, actually remembering her.]

[Oh, if only Ardyn was ever in the mood to admit to anything, ever. You could walk in on him stabbing someone and he'd still be like "who, me?".]

That's not a very committed answer.

I already told you, didn't I? You tricked a few people into causing the apocalypse or some such. What happened afterward, I don't know, but there's no pointing the finger at anyone else.

Now, now, it was not such a 'trick'. I merely forgot to specify some things, yes, but they could have easily refused me. Am I to blame for others' thoughtlessness?

[But he'll show up by the entrance within, say, the twenty minutes it takes him to cross the city at a leisurely pace. He stops some distance away from Irhya - and then gives a low, elaborate, sarcastic bow, even taking his hat off.]

I suppose I should thank you, my girl. It is not often that a man of my age gets an invitation to an intimate rendezvous with a charming young lady. Would you do me the honor of finally saying what entertainment you've got planned for us?

[He makes it all sound as sleazy as possible - on purpose, of course, not in the least just to see if it would make Irhya uncomfortable.]

[He certainly enjoys seeing that discomfort! His eyes linger briefly on the sword's handle, a sarcastic smile on his lips.]

I'll pry it out of you the hard way. I'm already halfway there.

[She draws her blade, but doesn't lunge at him, not just yet. Is he going to just dodge her forever, or can she make him put up a real fight? That's what she wants to gauge before making any moves.]
